ACTIVITIES OF THE TRUST

1. Helping the poor patients to raise funds for treatment.The treatment involved is that a cost certificate is made from the concerned doctor of the hospital. Other details such as income certificate of patient, Affidavit is prepared and then the case is recommended to the other social trusts for donation.
2. To distribute free lunch packets among the poor patients and their attendants daily at the TATA Hospital.
3. Most of the patients being from the other parts of the country, the trust looks after the accomodation problem also. The trust also provides emotional support to the patients and their attendants to help them morally as well as psychologically to fight their depression, fear and other activities.
4. The trust has also started organising free cancer check up camps from time to time for the general public for the timely detection and early treatment of the dreaded disease.
5. Major activity of the trust is to organise blood donation camps with the help of various reputed blood banks of the city.
   TATA blood bank has reserved 10% quota of the total blood collection and credited against the trusts name so that it can be utilised for the needy ones.

Distribution of Free food in the Hospitals

This is a regular activity of the trust to distribute Free Lunch Packets to the cancer patients and their attendants 5 days a week at the TATA Hospital. Daily 120 packets are distributed among the patients, one for the patient and one for his attendant.

Other General Activities Carried by the Trust during the Period

• Hand driven tricycles was given to the 2 handicapped persons during the period.
• About 40 cancer child patients were taken to picnic to FANTASY LAND at Jogeshwari by the Trust.
• Free cancer detection camp was organised on the eve of International Womans day from 8th March to 31st March , approx. 300 ladies attended the camp.
• The trust also contributed to the activity of distribution of free ration to the cancer patients. This distribution is mainly carried daily by KUSHAL MANGAL TRUST every Sunday at Dada Plaza.
