INTRODUCTION
- INDIA owns an asset of rich heritage, where there
is a free flow of brotherhood, love & affection. This love &
affection was not restricted to humans but was extended even to other
creatures. The Traditional Village Economy then practiced was a self-sufficient
economy.
- Dairy industry & Cattle rearing were the real
backbone of Gujarat economy. We can see the glimpses of our Richness
in our epics regarding Gokuldham - motherland of Lord Krishna. Even
today when Gujarat especially Kutch, which is prone to so many natural
calamities is still withstanding its rich virtues - thanks to our dedicated,
hard working & sincere Social Institution.
- Jivdaya (Kindness towards All) & Ahimsa (Non-Violence)
are the main Pillars of Jainism, which shows us the Path Moksha (Salvation).
With the same aim Bhagwan Mahavir Pashu Raksha Kendra - Anchorwala Ahimsa
Dham was set up accepting the principles of Humanity, Pity, Generosity
& Sincerity.
- Late Shri Jadhavji Ravji Gangar from Samagoga was
the main inspiration for setting up this organization. He sowed the
seeds in 1990, which was watered by Generous Shri Damjibhai & Shri
Jadhavjibhai Anchorwala sons of Late Sheth Shri Lalji Velji Shah. Also
due to various other donors a strong foundation was laid where today
1000s of ill, weak, handicap & other animals find shelter &
security.
