1. Digging water reservoirs & ponds is the main part of conserving water project.
2. It is recommended to dig the pond 75m in length & breath and 10m deep. Such pond can hold about 7.5 crores liters of water. Every year in summer if at least 2m deep digging is carried on, the pond gets ready within 5 years & the cost is expected to be around Rs.5 lakhs.
3. On the banks, trees like banyan, sami, bilipatra, umro, nirmali, etc should be planted roots of which can hold the water.
4. Also wells are to be recharged using ground water as means of drinking water & agriculture water.
